金沢大学医学部卒業。東京医科歯科大学（現 東京科学大学）整形外科で膝関節外科・スポーツ整形外科を専門に、大学病院や関連病院で診療と研究に携わってきました。2026年11月より小坂整形外科の院長として、前院長・小坂弘道先生の「治すことは癒やすこと」の精神を受け継ぎ、地域の皆様の診療にあたります。
院長ごあいさつ
2026年11月より小坂整形外科の院長を務めております、塩田幹夫と申します。
6月から代診として診療に加わり、すでにお会いした方も多いかと思いますが、あらためて、少し自己紹介をさせていただきます。
整形外科医を志した理由
医師を志したきっかけは、子どものころに通ったクリニックの先生への憧れです。診てもらうと不思議と安心できる、そんな存在でした。
研修医時代には、患者さんが前向きに社会復帰していく過程をお手伝いできる整形外科に魅力を感じ、この道に進みました。
これまでの経験と専門分野
大学病院のスタッフとして、大分県、静岡県、埼玉県など各地の病院に勤務し、医療には地域ごとにさまざまな事情があることを学びました。大学院では関節軟骨の再生医療に関する研究に取り組み、その後は膝の専門家として、ご高齢の方からスポーツ選手まで、数多くの膝の手術を担当してきました。
高位脛骨骨切り術、人工膝関節置換術、関節鏡による半月板や靭帯の手術など、一般的な整形外科診療の一歩先にある治療についてもご相談いただけます。もちろん、まずは手術以外の選択肢をご提案したいと考えています。それでも「もう一歩踏み込んだ治療には、どんな選択肢があるのだろう」と気になったときは、どうぞお気軽にお尋ねください。手術をするつもりがなくても構いません。ご自身の状態にどのような選択肢があるのかを知っておくことは、とても大切なことだと考えています。
日々の診療への思い
これまでの診療を通して強く感じてきたのは、患者さん一人ひとりに異なる背景があり、治療の選択肢や方針を一緒に考えることの大切さです。目標をともに定め、達成していく喜びを分かち合うなかで、私自身も患者さんからたくさんのことを学ばせていただきました。
振り返れば、私の人生は、悩みを一緒に考えてくれる仲間に恵まれてきました。前院長・小坂先生の「治すことは癒やすこと」の精神を受け継ぎ、患者さんの生活が前向きに変わるきっかけとなれるような診療を、これからも心がけてまいります。
前院長 小坂弘道先生と。小坂先生は木曜日・第4土曜日の診療を引き続き担当いたします。
